I recently upgraded from Windows Vista Home Premium to Windows 7 Home Premium. I have notice that Windows 7 runs a lot faster and smoother. A lot of programs that I ran with Vista, such as Sony Vegas and Audio Audition, used to glitch and run slow but now the programs are running smoothly. Before buying Windows 7 I would make sure you aren’t eligible for getting a FREE upgrade from your computer’s manufacturer or Microsoft. They are only offering the Upgrade version until next month. With the upgrade version all your files and programs will be saved so you don’t have to reinstall anything. Nothing got deleted for me but I would be safe and backing up your files anyways.
